Deceptively spacious modern, well presented, 3-bedroom town house situated very close to the shops and amenities with enclosed rear garden and garage.
The historic town of Colyton is a picturesque and popular destination with a thriving community. It boasts good shopping facilities, Public Library, Health Centre, Inns, Restaurants, Churches and, of course, the famous Tramway leading through Colyton stopping at Colyford and arriving at the coastal town of Seaton. There are a number of good primary and secondary schools in the area including the local primary school along with the renowned Colyton Grammar School. The city of Exeter, with its regional airport, is some twenty miles to the west, and the mainline rail link to London (Waterloo) is at Axminster, approximately seven miles away. The popular World Heritage Coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis are all within a short drive.
From our offices in SEATON, continue eastwards (towards Axmouth) on the Harbour Road. At the first roundabout turn left into The Underfleet and continue straight across at the next mini roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout into Fore Street and follow this road into Colyford. At the T Junction, turn right onto the A3052 and then turn left onto the B3161 for Colyton. Continue straight on this road towards the centre of the town, through the traffic calming system and take the next turning on the left into Hillhead. Hill Court will be found shortly on the left hand side.
This modern town house is situated in Hillhead a quiet residential road just off the heart of the picturesque town of Colyton and therefore has easy access to all the local shops and amenities. The house itself has been extended to the rear (approx. 2007) and more recently been updated and improved and as such needs to be viewed internally to appreciate the space inside. The current owners have recently added a new garage roof, updated the kitchen, levelled and landscaped the rear garden and re-decorated throughout. The property benefits from full gas fired central heating with a combi boiler, double glazing and an 'Environvent' air circulation system. The front door opens to an internal porch with coat hooks and an inner door opens to the entrance hall with stairs rising to the first floor. There is a downstairs WC and doors lead off to the kitchen to the front which has a matching range of base and wall units with built-in electric oven, electric hob with extractor over, integrated fridge/freezer, sink, space and plumbing for a washing machine and wood effect flooring. The extended living/dining room is a surprisingly spacious and light room and is a particular feature of this house. Patio doors give access to the rear garden and there is a fireplace with an electric log stove effect fire with fitted units/cupboard to one side. The first floor landing has an airing cupboard and access to the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 both have windows to the rear which afford lovely far reaching views towards the countryside in the distance. The family bathroom comprises a white suite with bathshower over, WC and wash hand basin. There is no chain with the property.
