The historic town of Colyton is a picturesque and popular destination with a thriving community. It boasts good shopping facilities, Public Library, Health Centre, Inns, Restaurants, Churches and, of course, the famous Tramway leading through Colyton stopping at Colyford and arriving at the coastal town of Seaton. There are a number of good primary and secondary schools in the area including the local primary school along with the renowned Colyton Grammar School. The popular World Heritage Coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis are all within a short drive.
